Compare the shape of the economics.

Choose two or three authored examples. All use the same 60-month method, Central conditions, full paid labor and monthly definitions.

3 synthetic formats · Central conditions · mature month · USD

Synthetic comparison, not a Texas opportunity ranking. These are different business formats with distinct capacities. Dollar metrics use the same period and cost definition. No State Fit score is used to sort ideas.

Each trades 26 days per month with Central ramp factors 45%, 60%, 72%, 82%, 90%, 96%, 100%. NCF = EBITDA − maintenance CapEx; ΔNWC is assumed unchanged. There is no financing or income-tax schedule, seasonality, inflation, disposal proceeds or owner distributions. Required labor includes management in each format. Capital = U₀ + buffer + peak cumulative NCF deficit. Payback starts at −U₀, not −total funding.

Only the restaurant has a complete article. Bakery and Coffee Shop open an explicit research-status dialog, not an unrelated page.

02

Make Texas specific to the address.

These are research tasks, not proven state advantages or measured local costs.

Premises

Price the actual space.

Compare lease terms, occupancy charges and fit-out work for candidate properties.

Demand

Check the catchment.

Observe dayparts and competing formats. State population alone is not addressable demand.

Labor

Build the roster.

Price each required role and hour, including the work a manager or owner must perform.

Requirements

Find the authority.

Confirm jurisdiction and format before recording approval requirements or timing.

A verified lookup route

Start food-service checks with jurisdiction.

Texas DSHS provides a retail food jurisdiction map to help find a health department. The applicable requirements still depend on the chosen address and business scope.
