How Ideas by State works

Commercial disclosure

Understand the commercial purpose before following a product recommendation.

Why financial models appear here

Ideas by State is being developed to promote relevant financial models from FinModelsLab. Buttons labelled “Buy Financial Model” show the model price and open Shopify checkout directly for the selected FinancialModelsLab workbook. There is no intermediate product page.

This prototype does not state an affiliate commission or a contractual relationship that has not been verified. The final disclosure must describe the actual ownership or compensation relationship at launch.

What remains on the free page

The financial definitions, supported evidence, assumptions, limits and preliminary answer belong on the free page. A purchase should not be necessary to inspect why a public estimate says what it says.

What a model must not influence

Product availability and commercial returns do not belong in the Idea Score, State Fit Score or Data Quality calculation. A missing product must not lower an idea’s assessment.

Before choosing a model

Read the seller’s current specification, screenshots and terms. The restaurant product description was reviewed for this design; the sold workbook itself was not inspected. No automatic import, ready-made Texas data or particular outcome is promised.

Disclosure should be close to the recommendation

The FTC’s endorsement guidance explains why a material connection should be easy to understand and noticeable where readers evaluate a recommendation. A footer-only label may not provide enough context for a distant product link.
